Waste Management & Recycling
Delivering Cleantech Solutions
AOpen is committed to deliver total cleantech solutions by adhering to international standards by consciously managing waste disposal best practices.
In August of 2005, the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive) of the European Community directive 2002/96/EC for electronic equipment together with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, became European Law to set collection, recycling and recovery efforts for all types of electrical goods.
AOpen has devoted key resources to its Green Tech Lab to adhere to the WEEE Directive. AOpen's products, wrapping, manuals, warranty certificates and power tags carry the WEEE EN50419 logo encouraging ecological-friendly disposal or re-use best practices.
