Green Tech Milestones

During 2004, AOpen's Green Tech Labs invented MoDT Technology in response to challenges set by the international community for energy-efficient, low heat, and noiseless computers. By focusing its resources on MoDT Technology, AOpen has become the industry standard for eco-friendly SFF and uSFF modular components and platforms.

Over the years, AOpen has continued to raise green tech benchmarks largely through its R&D commitment to green tech innovation. Today, AOpen offers premium SFF and uSFF modular components and platforms that, like CFL spiral light bulbs over conventional light bulbs, provide greener solutions for homes and offices. Thanks to the Energy Star 4.0 readiness of AOpen’s Digital Engines and XC Minis at 90W (compared to conventional computers at 400W), not only do customers enjoy low-heat, noiseless, and energy-efficient performance, they also enjoy big cost savings.
